Occupying a once-abandoned church in a verdant valley a short drive from Bilbao, Venezuelan creative director, photographer and skateboarder Tas Careaga has envisioned a personal environment through his own creative parameters. A former mining region set deep in the Basque country, Las Encartaciones was left largely deserted as its industry slowly dissolved. When the community it served ceased to exist, Cargeaga acquired the church in the town of Sopuerta, its historic stone walls becoming the canvas for a curatorial vision shaped by anachronistic elements

There is room for everything on a beach. Rest and relaxation, a child watching and adults going about their business, indistinct voices, the sun and the sea. But also something that moves away from reality to enter the world of dreams and myths. Something similar to the chimera of Yemayá, goddess of the sea in Yoruba culture. A photography of saturated colors and a montage close to hallucination turn this short film into an unrepeatable experience.

On the night of September 4-5, 1998, Isidre and Dolors Orrit disappeared from the San Juan de Dios Hospital in Manresa in inexplicable circumstances and without a trace. Isidre was 5 years old and his sister Dolors was 17. Thirty-three years after the disappearance, the case remains unsolved and responsibilities have never been cleared.
The documentary by Ferran Ureña and Marc Solanes tries to reconstruct the facts giving voice to the family and the role played by journalists such as Paco Lobatón who, with the program “Quién sabe dónde”, played a key role in the investigation that is being carried out. In an impeccable way, the documentary reveals how society and the media of the time were not always up to the task of dealing with such tragic events.
